(NOTE: Any resemblance between this and the G Neo-ZILLA is coincidence, this was the fifth attempt to make Zilla, but since it was my favorite monster it was hard to make it right and came out with bad proportions, and this was not copied from Matt’s desing since this was made in mid-summer 2007, about six months before the G Neo-ZILLA)

Personality: the original Zilla was merely a territorial animal, while Zilla Jr acted much like hero than a monster, being able to make moral decisions as t help Nessie rescue her offspring a letting some of less dangerous monsters live. He is also able to show other human emotions such as anger, sadness and love specially towards Komodithrax who he will die protecting.

Story:
Zilla I
French Polynesia breeds numerous exotic reptiles. Never intended, Mankind's bane: nuclear weapons, pulsed with an intense glow, and arose was a mighty creature dubbed Gojira by a Japanese sailor, mindful of legend, as his fellow crew members were killed.

Dr. Nick Tatopoulos, was located in Chernobyl researching the effects of radiation on wildlife, is interrupted and sent to Panama, to observe the wreckage of the recovered Japanese fishing ship and a set of massive footprints in the grassy soil. The creature continued its trek from the Pacific to the Atlantic. Manhattan was the perfect place amongst the concrete towers that rose hundreds of meters. Much to the creature's despair, the species that spawned it inhabited this ground. But man was fierce and quick, and used fish to lure the creature to its demise. Missiles and guns pierced through the creature and all it could do was flee. The beast is chased by three AH-64 Apache helicopters, who destroy the top of the Chrysler Building. But the beast was too clever and ambushed the aggressors and made them pay for their crimes and retaliates by breathing strong gusts of combustible wind.

After the battle, Nick collects a blood sample, whence he learns that Godzilla reproduces asexually and is collecting food for his children. Nick is determined to find Godzilla's nest.

The creature felt the pains of childbirth creeping through its womb and laid its eggs. Humans searched for the creature, and ultimately the creature was brought to the surface again, lured by fish which its young would so surely need. The lesson from last time burned deep in its mind, it fled to the sea where it was pursued by submarines. The creature quick wit brought one of the torpedoes crashing into a submarine, but its escape was thwarted when it took a direct hit by a torpedo.

The creature would remain “dead” to mankind as the young were sought out and destroyed by humans. Following the devastation, it rose from the streets, heartbroken at it pursued the closest group of humans, yearning for revenge. The beast chases Nick, Philippe, Audrey and Animal in a taxicab and are almost eaten, they were clever enough to lure it to the Brooklyn Bridge. Ensnared in the arches and cables, the creature could only roar helplessly as it was brutally murdered by missiles. Robbed of its revenge, could only stare at its aggressors as it fell into eternal slumber. Humans thought that Godzilla was finally dead but that was for from truth, this creature was never Godzilla.

But elsewhere, the legacy continued...

Hatchlings
In the very heart of Madison Square Garden, “Godzilla's” young grew their leathery eggs. Nick and Philippe's special ops team, surreptitiously followed by Audrey and cameraman Victor "Animal" Palotti, track through the subway tunnels to the Garden, finding hundreds of man-sized eggs. Ultimately, they would hatch, much to the horror of the humans. Unfortunately for the onlookers, the young creatures were hungry. The creatures turned to the humans, whose bodies smelled like fish. In a horrific display, two hundred younglings hatched and several pursued the small group of people. The hungry creatures infested the building and backed the humans into a room, After failing to contain the babies and losing several members of the team, Nick, Philippe, Animal and Audrey take refuge in a TV broadcast booth. Believing that the babies will eventually force humanity into extinction if they escape, Nick, and Audrey alert the authorities, who order an immediate strike by a trio of F-18 Hornets. The small group of people fought their way out. The humans escaped the building as a terrible fate befell the young ones. The military fired on the building, annihilating the terrible creatures.

But deep in the bowls of the devastated nest, one offspring escaped. Late to hatch, this final “Godzilla”, the last of its species, emerged, this one would not terrorize the world … but to protect it.

Zilla Jr
Just when the first Zilla is destroyed, another one is born, imprinting on Dr. Nick Tatopoulos. Rather than destroying the new Zilla, Nick decides to study it, and a bond soon grows between them. He recruits Elsie Chapman, Mendel Craven, and Randy Hernandez to form HEAT. The secret doesn’t last long when Major Hicks learns of the new Zilla, he is torn between killing the monster and trusting in Nick… but in the end, Zilla Jr is attacked by the military and apparently destroyed.

In the wake of Zilla Jr’s apparent death, HEAT stays together and study other mutations around the world. The team travels to Jamaica to investigate attacks on boats and swimmers. Heat discovers several very aggressive giant squids, and it is only the last-minute arrival of Zilla Jr that saves the day.

After examining the corpse of a squid, Nick theorizes these were not the main threat, and that there is a “super predator”. Crustaceous Rex comes ashore, and tears through a seaside village until it is confronted by Zilla Jr. The two face off while Hicks and the military prepare to deal with the winner. C-Rex lost the battle as he was buried alive from a rock slide. Zilla Jr roars in triumph and as the military descend on him, he jumps into the water and on the ocean floor, he begins to swim quickly in a large circle, freeing the ships and people caught by the squids. Nick persuades Hicks by telling him Zilla is the only thing that stands between Humanity and every other Mutation in the world, causing Hicks to call off the attack but telling Nick to not make him regret it.

A sanitation workers strike leaves the streets of New York City piled with trash. Unfortunately, The Nanotech Creature use to clean the problem have not been properly tested and, once released from their container, the colony goes out of control. Zilla Jr rises to halt the Nanotech Creature’s rampage long enough for H.E.A.T. to destroy it from within by infecting the microbes with a computer virus. After the battle its was public knowledge the Zilla Jr was till alive

Zilla Jr would soon meet Nick’s old college rival Cameron Winter, the wealthy and powerful head of Solstice Technologies. Winter invites Nick and Heat to tour the Solstice facilities and offers them all jobs working for him. Nick and the rest of team immediately refuse despite all of Winter’s promises. But it will not be last time they seem him. With Zilla Jr in his power, Winter would have access to DNA he needs to create an army of genetically engineered bio-weapons that he will sell to the highest bidder.

Days later, HEAT tracks the source of a series of Tachyon transmissions to the Hazard Abyss. When they learn from Preloran’s crew that the scientists never returned from their expedition, HEAT launches a rescue mission. The team is attacked by a gigantic plesiosaur called Cryptocleidus. Zilla Jr swims to the rescue and HEAT manages to dock with the alien craft. Once aboard the ship, HEAT meets with the Leviathan Aliens, their new ally Dr Preloran. The Leviathan Aliens have decided that the earth will make a perfect colony for their people. Nick manages to destroy this ship’s controls. A pair of Cryptocleidi waits to intercept the escape pod as it travels to the surface, but Zilla Jr is still around and makes short work of the prehistoric reptiles. On the surface, H.E.A.T. can finally relax, but no one notices that Sopler and Hoffman’s eyes have a yellow glow…

HEAT receives a scratchy videotape from scientist Dr. Hugh Trevor, who claims his research institute has been attacked by the Loch Ness Monster. After the Nick is forced to admit that there is a creature in Loch Ness. When Nick and Randy discover that Dr. Trevor has kidnapped Nessie’s baby and plans to sell it, they signal Zilla Jr, who winds up helping the Loch Ness Monster free her offspring in a show of monster cooperation.

A series of monster attacks near Mt Fuji prompts HEAT to look into the situation. That night, HEAT’s base camp is attacked by a Giant Albino Yeti. Zilla Jr charges into the fray and sets the Yeti ablaze with his atomic breath. The Yeti’s flesh melts away, revealing that it is in fact a mechanical Robo-Yeti. While Zilla Jr and the Robo-Yeti continue their battle, the team is taken to the JSDF control center. There they are introduced to Dr Yukiko Ifukube. As she argues with H.E.A.T., the compound is attacked by the real threat, King Cobra. When Zilla Jr approaches, King Cobra spits its glue in Zilla Jr’s eyes, blinding him but he fires back with his radioactive breath and King Cobra flees. Using his sense of smell, Zilla Jr chases after the monster. Zilla Jr and King Cobra fight in the heart of Tokyo, Robo-Yeti comes to the rescue but King Cobra coils around the robot and crushes it. Nick sprays Elsie’s formula in Zilla Jr’s eyes. With his site restored, Zilla Jr beats King Cobra into submission.

Nick and Craven trace a sudden spike in Tachyon transmissions to Sandy Point military base in New Jersey. They discover the Dr Sopler and Dr Hoffman have helped the military dredge up the Leviathan.

The team decides to investigate reports of a Giant Bat in Nigeria. Zilla Jr attacks the Giant Bat but is wounded by the creature’s sonic screams. As the tide of battle turns in the Giant Bat’s favor, it stops the attack and flies off. The surviving Leviathan Aliens had downloaded their brains into Sopler and Hoffman, and taken control of Elsie and all the military personnel at Sandy Point. Using their telepathic powers the aliens had toyed with HEAT, keeping the team members at each other’s throats and out of the way long enough for the invaders to summon King Cobra, Crustaceous Rex, and other monster to site Omega and begin their plan to conquer the world.

Tracking the Giant Bat, Randy and Monique discover that one of the Cryptocleidus is still alive. Nick and Craven sneak into Sandy Point to try and rescue Elsie from the aliens. They make a terrifying discovery; the Leviathan Aliens have reanimated the corpse of the first Zilla and outfitted it with robotic parts, creating Cyber-Zilla. Zilla Jr races to defend Nick, but is confused when he comes face-to-face with his own father. The aliens use the distraction to take control of Zilla Jr’s brain.

HEAT invades Site Omega but is quickly captured by Hicks and his men. The Aliens announce that the monsters are being used to soften up mankind for the Leviathan invasion fleet. HEAT escapes from the invaders. As Craven sets up a new Tachyon signal to disrupt the aliens’ hold on the monsters. Released from alien control, the earth monsters turn against their former masters. The Leviathan fleet makes short work of the monsters. HEAT pilots an alien fighter with Elsie’s help and blasts the main Tachyon generator at Site Omega. Meanwhile, Zilla Jr tears Cyber-Zilla to pieces. Their weapons destroyed, the Leviathan Aliens sound the retreat and flee back into space.

Nefarious billionaire Cameron Winter breaks out of prison a trio of hunters obsessed with taking out Godzilla and outfits them with a trio of experimental mecha built by Solstice Technolgies: the Lizard Slayer 1, 2, 3. The three hunters launch an all-out assault on Zilla Jr and end up destroying everything in their path, including Hick’s military forces! However, their ineptitude combined with Junior's natural intelligence meant they were very poor at their job. The government had been impressed by the mechs and given Winter orders for models for the military.

While on a romantic cruise in Alaska, Nick and Audrey’s ship is attacked by a Giant Turtle. The pair winds up on a deserted island where they once again encounter the Giant Turtle. This time they are saved by Komodithrax, a huge mutant Komodo dragon. Meanwhile, Zilla Jr is on the move to Alaska and the rest of HEAT trails the monster to the island and make an amazing discovering. Zilla Jr and Komodithrax appear to be a couple… and there’s a giant egg in their nest! The military arrives with orders to launch an air strike on all the monsters on the island. It’s now up to H.E.A.T. and Zilla Jr to protect Komodithrax and their unborn young while defeating the Giant Turtle. Unfortunately, Komodithrax, the Giant turtle and the giant egg fell into a fissure. Zilla was left to mourn.
After that incident, Nick Tatopoulus married his collage sweetheart Audrey Timmonds but during the wedding it was the last time Zilla Jr was last seen and left N.Y. and was never seem again for two years. But fate would call on for him to “take sword in hand” once again.

In 2002 Cameron Winter took control of Monster Island and used Tachyon technology to reversed-engineered a new mental-control technology to control the monster from around the world that he was able to find. HEAT team was reformed and Zilla Jr return ready for battle as ever. Zilla encounter that Komodithrax is still alive, his roars were able to free her from Winter’s control. HEAT was able to free the monsters, when Cameron sent Lizard Slayers to eliminate the monsters and Heat. Zilla Jr and Komodithrax led the monsters in an assault to destroy the Mechs. Zilla Jr took down most of Lizard Slayer on his own showing an incredible display of agility, speed and fire power. In an attempt to escape Winter was literally killed by Zilla’s hand, and after that he stayed in Monster Island.

In 2010 the world was attacked by many kaiju, Zilla Jr, attacked Sydney, Australia. The monsters smashed through buildings and anything else in his way. As they devastated the city, the Xilians saved the humans from annihilation and teleported the monsters away.

After the true plans of the Xilians were discovered, they once again released the monster was where he continued its frenzied rampage. Knowing the Earth forces had little chance against the invaders; the Gotengo and its crew summon Godzilla III and lured it to Sydney where it faced the massive reptile. Zilla Jr leaped through the air in an attempt to down the monster king, but Godzilla simply tail swiped it out of the air, making it come to a crashing halt in the Sydney Opera House where it hit by Godzilla's atomic ray. Zilla rose from the burning building and was free of his controller but the intense hit that shook his head. Fearful that Komidithrax might end up like him, he destroyed several Xilians Ships looking eliminated this threat from the world.

Zilla Jr and Komodithrax lived peacefully on Monster Island for several years. In 2020, the alien race known as the Kilaakian took control of all the monsters and sent them to attack the Earth's major cities. Zilla was ordered to N.Y. but the encounter with Nick Tatopoulus and his family consisting of his wife and brand new daughter snapped him of his control and back to his senses and he retreated to the ocean.

Driven by hunger Kamacuras attacked their fellow kaiju. Komodithrax was the first to face the giant mantis. Just as it was about to kill Komdithrax by impaling her with its deadly raptorial arms Zilla crashed through the hill and punched it. Zilla managed blasted Kamacuras’s left arm and began strangling Kamacuras, until it snapped it’s neck. However, Zilla did not stop, and threw the crippled insect to the ground, then smashed its skull in with a powerful punch and then proceeded to tear the insect apart, ripping off even limbs

Later, when the Kilaaks lost control of the monsters, they sent Monster X and Mogu to defeat them. Zilla bravely attacked Mogu. As Anguirus and Zilla assaulted Mogu from the front, Gorosaurus was able to prepare an attack from behind. Unable to match the Zilla in strength, Mogu's fate was handed to him when Zilla shot a fireball down its throat. Mogu turned to ash and embers.

Monster X began to reveal his true identity, a three-headed space dragon known as Kaizer Ghidorah. Then the monsters fought Kaizer Ghidorah, Zilla joins Godzilla III, Mothra and Balkzardan in a rampage with fully charged attacks that erupted the space dragon, Kaizer Ghidorha was dead.

Zilla stay Monster Island, where he continued to peacefully live out the rest of his life with his fellow monsters, where he and Komidithrax brought to the world the first of a new species Komodozilla. He be would one of the few to witness the death of Godzilla III, after that Zilla was know the closest thing to Godzilla besides the remnants of the Godzillasaurus left in the world, a King of Monster of his own right and leader of the monster brethren left in the world.
