It's been five days since the battle with Shamshel, and Shinji still hasn't returned to school. After Raven come to pick up Shinji, Misato knocks on his bedroom door and tries to persuade him, but both have discovered that is gone.

Garashrp-"There can only be one to rule all!”

Powers/weapons:
Coiling around its enemies to crash them,
Rattle produces a piercing sound
Its fangs can inject a deadly poison if it can penetrate the opponent’s skin.

Personality: Garasharp is the evil enemy of the north that Gamera protect us form is an evil creature bent on destruction

Story: The guardian of the North protects from an enemy of the North… a snake.

After the rampaging destrutioc Gamera III, several eggs where uncovered and the JSDF place the eggs into a laboratory until in 2010 the last remaining egg hatched.

The huge, serpent-like monster Garasharp attacks the cities of Japan, but Gamera soon arrives to end the beast's reign of terror. During the attack the home of Ai Maeda is destroyed, killing her family and leaving her terribly wounded, in a last attempt to save her Irys absorbs her and the revenge god is awaken once again .

Despite Garasharp's awesome array of weapons, including a poisonous breath and a sonic rattle, Gamera gains the upper hand, blasting the foul monster's head from its body. Squirming out of the carcass are two baby Garasharp serpents.

The JSDF moves in to exterminate the small monsters. Before they can do so, however, Gamera intervenes. Landing near the baby monsters, Gamera allows them to slither onto his back. Flying away so that the military cannot harm the tiny Garasharp serpents, Gamera takes them to a deserted tropical island, leaving the monster on their new home where they won't do anyone any harm and proving that Gamera truly is the friend of all children, not just human ones.

But the snakes want to destroy and have already grow into their full adult size, and begin to batter Gamera into submission, but help is here… Irys has return

Both Gamera and Irys seek to destroy the beasts to end their reign of terror. Gamera fires a fire ball into the mouth of one incinerating the beast into a hail of ash and embers while Irys slashes the beats apart until jumping on top of it and ripping its head apart before disposing the remains with its plasma balls.

After the battle the two guardians face … their ancestors may have tried to kill each other, but this a new age and both maybe need one another gain, each set to its cardinal position, the guardian of the North to protect the North and the guardian of the South to protect the South… forever

I don't follow Gamera much so I may be mistaken, but this looks more like it's based on the snake critter that attacked Japan in Godzilla: The Series.
