Eva-00 was the first operational Evangelion. Being a prototype, it was not originally equipped for combat, but was later upgraded and brought into battle against the Angels.

Design Changes
The design of the helmet is inspired in the art concept for the live action-Evangelion. The Eva's face will be revealed on-screen, when the Eva transforms into the angel Samuel.

Eva-00 originally was to have orange armor but the coloring program I use made difficult to reach the orange, so it is still some orange with slight brown. Also this early version has the characteristic Evangelion shoulder pylons, when first seen it does not have shoulder pylons attached. After the battle with the Angel Ramiel, Eva-00’s armor was change to a blue color.

Instead of an overall orange color scheme, in Rebirth this version includes gray, colored lower legs and slight color alterations to its arms and chest area, as well as a prominent white "waistband".

Powers:
Can be equipped with several different types of long range weapons and hand to hand based weapons.
Can produce an A.T. Field that blocks attacks from getting near and can neutralize other A.T. Fields.

Weaknesses:
Possible chances of going insane and attacking human pilot.
With out the power cable, she can only operate for five minutes.
